In our monthly group gatherings, we will be discussing the benefits of a “mindful” approach to daily routines. Being stuck in traffic, trying to calm a screaming child when you are at your wits’ end, having a loved one challenged by illness or you yourself struggling with a diagnosis are all moments that we need to find some “grounding”. In short, the “bumps in the road” (large and small) that we all face on a daily basis, are all opportunities to dig deeper into ourselves to find a way to remain balanced amidst chaos. You will be led through some guided visualizations and meditations, as well as provide some very practical tools to get “to the bottom” of what triggers us and why, and gently help us uncover our own wisdom as we work with, and flow with, all that life brings.
This program is funded by Patient Cancer Funds.
